I LoVe HiS wOrk

For me my favorite Painter is Johannes Vermmer, he is the greatest to me.
Whats yours?
I like him because it was said that he took months or years on a painting, so that would mean that he put a lot of effort into his work. Also i love his display of people, he can make a picture real and the clothes stand out. Clothes actual look real!

My favorite Painting of his is,
" Girl With A Pearl Earring"
This painting is so soft and
expressive. I think she has a secret.

I really like the following "Officer And Laughing Girl"
paintings.

"The MilkMaid"

So much concentration~ or is she really tired

"The Glass Of Wine"

"Young Woman With A Water Pitcher"

To the( right) is my second favorite, i think it shows
DayDreaming.

"Mistress And Maid"

(Left)
You can see in a lot of Vermmer's work that he uses pearl earrings and that same coat, but what i really like in this painting is that their is some special news that is in that letter. Bad or Good?

Shade some light on Austen

I have only seen at least two sketches of the actual Jane Austen, and for me i think she doesn't look half bad. Really i don't think we can count on a old painting/drawing to give justice to a person back then or even further. I know i have seen some drawings of Shakespeare and when i read his pieces i would not have guessed that he would look like the way he is depicted, not very romantic. But i suppose that most paintings were not expertly done and he was a lot older then. And then their are a lot of other authors who look very different than what i would have guessed, all i am saying is that Jane Austen looks pretty good for being drawn out.

P.S

In a lot of European paintings the person has a full and round jaw and chin, it makes them all look the same.

Sonnet's of Shakespeare~

Sonnet

30

When to the sessions of sweet silent thought

I summon up remembrance of things past,

I sigh the lack of many a thing i sought,

And with old woes new wail my dear

times' waste.

Then can i drown an eye in death's

dateless night,

And moan th' expense of many a vanished sight.

Then can i grieve at grievances

foregone,

And heavily from woe to woe tell o'er

The sad account of fore-bemoaned

moan,

Which i new pay as if not paid before.

But if the while i think on

thee, dear friend,

All losses are restored,

and sorrows end.

Sonnet

33

Full many a glorious

morning have i seen.

Flatter the mountain tops

with sovereign eye,

Kissing with golden face

the meadows green,

Gilding pale streams with

heavenly alchemy,

Anon permit the basest

clouds to ride

With ugly rack on his

celestial face,

And from the forlorn

world his visage hide,

Stealing unseen to west

with this disgrace.

Ev'n so my sun one early

morn did shine

With triumphant

splendor on my brow;

But out alack, he was but

one hour mine;

The region cloud hath

masked him from me

now.

Yet him for this

my love no whit

disdaineth.

Suns of the world

may stain when heav'n's

sun staineth.

A very good book

I have just finished this book and i just loved it. It was so well written and detailed. E. M Forster has created A Room With A View with enough purpose and imagination to carry a person through the characters lives. The characters are not heroic but humans and that makes it you relate to it more.

Coming Soon!!!!

Airing on March 29-April 26, 2009. (Check local listings)
Little Dorrit is on top of my list, i can't wait to see it. I have heard that it is really good and that makes me even more want to see it. With Claire Froy who plays (Amy Dorrit), Tom Courtenay who plays ( William Dorrit), And Matthew Macfadyen who plays (Arthur Clennam).
LITTLE DORRIT, by Charles Dickens.

David Copperfield Review

I really would suggest this movie to anyone that is a fan of Dickens or of a good story. From the beginning to the end it was satisfying and just so good. Stories of darkness are definitely in Dickens specialty's and the freshness that emits is so great. The movie is around the 3 hour mark and i didn't want it to end.
The characters are so brilliant. I love the sweetness and goodness of David, and Agnes. The deception of Uriah is so vivid he is very creepy. The ironic characters are also very much in this story and i love them.
The basic story of a boy who comes from a loving and just world and that being taken away is so heartrending, but friendships made, make it so heartwarming.
