An Education (2009)

This movie looks so good to me and i really want to see it. It has had 3 oscar nomanations. Here is the trailer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUeYKwxTCGQ

Here is a short summary:
In the early 1960's, sixteen year old Jenny Mellor lives with her parents in the London suburb of Twickenham. On her father's wishes, everything that Jenny does is in the sole pursuit of being accepted into Oxford, as he wants her to have a better life than he. Jenny is bright, pretty, hard working but also naturally gifted. The only problems her father may perceive in her life is her issue with learning Latin, and her dating a boy named Graham, who is nice but socially awkward. Jenny's life changes after she meets David Goldman, a man over twice her age. David goes out of his way to show Jenny and her family that his interest in her is not improper and that he wants solely to expose her to cultural activities which she enjoys. Jenny quickly gets accustomed to the life to which David and his constant companions, Danny and Helen, have shown her, and Jenny and David's relationship does move into becoming a romantic one. However, Jenny slowly learns more about David, and by association Danny and Helen, and specifically how they make their money. Jenny has to decide if what she learns about them and leading such a life is worth forgoing her plans of higher eduction at Oxford

And the actors in it is really a great cast:

Pirates

Ok now i am excited. (I'm not the most excited i can be but i still am excited enough to really want to see it!) Pirates of the Caribbean (4) On stranger Tides should be coming out in 2011. (So many movies i am covering are coming out in that year, so many!) The reason i am not as excited as i would have been is because the movie as we loved it will be changing. It no longer will have the two characters the story very much depended on, Will and Elizabeth. But as all things do, they move on and i am sure it will be splendid as the others were. I just hate it when they switch characters on you, and i know that soon the pirate movies with stop soon because good things know when to stop when they are a head. (Although i wonder if they are making a mistake in making this movie because if they were to stop while they are ahead they are surly missing their time to do so. This movie will either put them ahead or behind, i just don't know what it is right now.) Well I'm coming to the good part, Jack Sparrow will be continuing as a character and the wonerful Johnny Depp is to play him for the fourth time. Now I'm coming to the strange part of the details, it is rumored that Penélope Cruz will be acting in the movie. It is not for sure but it likely will happen. And a big new character Captain Blackbeard will join the cast. I don't know much more about that, but from what i know it is a huge difference. (Maybe they should have made the adventures of Jack Sparrow before all the other Pirates of the Caribbean movies.) More info click on this link - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1298650/

For me the most impressive and cool aspect yet is that one of the filming locations will be in Hawaii. I'm not sure what island exactly but one of the smaller more isolated ones i think. That is pretty cool if i might say so myself. (In Hawaii they have had many things filmed, what i can think of is, Indiana Jones (the newest one) Lost, and Hawaii 5 0)
So knowing one location we can sort of imagine what it will look like, its exciting!
I found this article talking a bit more of it. -

"Johnny Depp Hopeful Dark Shadows Movie Will Shoot This Year"

27 February 2010 11:39 PM, PST Reelzchannel.com See recent ReelzChannel news »

This year was already shaping up to be a busy one for actor Johnny Depp, but now it appears that it's going to get even busier. Depp is currently in Venice for the start of principal photography on his new movie, The Tourist, with Angelina Jolie, even as his latest collaboration with director Tim Burton, Alice in Wonderland, opens this week.

Depp will follow up The Tourist by reprising the role of Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which is slated to begin shooting this summer in Hawaii. And Depp recently confirmed in a brief statement to ScreenCrave that he expects to star in another Tim Burton movie by the end of the year, a big-screen adaptation of the '60s goth soap opera Dark Shadows. I see it going this year, I hope it does. I do yeah. We'll work like dogs to get there. »

Well i hope this helped at least a little bit in knowing just a little bit more about the up coming film if you haven't heard much about it lately,

Zombies (2011)

Well here it is more details in the new re-make, spoof more likely movie of Pride and Prejudice. Sorry I'm getting out of being neutral for this review, but i don't know how Jane Austen would take this, her beloved novel being turned into a zombie movie to please the crowds. I'm wondering about this. I know a lot of relations and some of her and fans were not happy with the movie Becoming Jane and i just wonder how they are going to take this. I know many won't be disappointed and many are looking forward to it, but again this is my opinion and I'm just wondering how it will be taken because i know a lot of people weren't happy with Becoming Jane. Another of my reasons is that they didn't like these things so much back then and so people are saying she would be very proud of it if she could see what happened to her book. I'm not saying she is or she isn't, I'm just saying really? Why? Why are they doing this? But here it is. . . a love story turned horror!!!! (i can hear the blood scream already!)

Well more to the fact here is more information for the to be movie. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies comes out in 2011 unless it is changed like the possibility of any movie title and production. (don't worry I'm not planing anything to stop it!) But The writers are as we know Jane Austen (the name taken in vain) and the novel writer of Pride Prejudice and Zombies, Seth Grahame-Smith.

The Plot is this: Jane Austen's classic tale of the tangled relationship between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England is faced with a new challenge - - an army of undead Zombies.

I didn't write that plot, i just wanted to make that known. And is it me or is it a bit tangled itself. (i don't see why they need to bring the fad of zombies this season into a classic tale. The sea monster book of Sense and sensibility was a bit strange but not extremely bad, but zombies i really don't understand. ) Anyways -

So far as i know the only actress to play a part is Natalie Portman who will play Elizabeth Bennet. Humm. . . That is something i thought i would never see. I really don't know what to think.

But if you are interested (their so far now isn't much other information on the website that i haven't already talked about ) here is the link you can follow to read more. (if their is more) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1374989/

Well i am intreged to see how it will turn out and how they will make it work, BOSTAN~

March 1st

It's March 1st! The beginning of a new month! Wow the month has gone away so fast, it almost feels like I'm just dreaming. But of course I'm not, even though i do have a very vivid imagination. Well today's picture isn't very lovely or enchanting but more of a mystical and haunting scene. I like it though, i looks cool. Very mysterious and all! And i haven't forgotten today is my fictional character that begins with a M for March. This time it was a little more difficult but i think i got two characters that begin with M, how about Miss. Mary Crawford of Mansfield Park written by Jane Austen and then i have another one a Miss. Mary Bennett of Pride and Prejudice also written by Jane Austen. Do you have any other M names??? Any would be cool! Well this month should be fun, i know Alice in Wonderland is coming out in theaters soon and can't wait. Feels like i have been waiting for years and i am so very excited. Every time i see a preview i smile, its weird but it happens. Now all i have to is convince my friend Lain to want to see it. It might take a little bit longer but i think i can change her.

Okay well, i should be going I'm very sleepy and can't wait to hit my bed!

The 39 Steps

The 39 Steps has now played. My review: I thought it was very good, i personally really liked and enjoyed it. It was different from what Masterpiece was showing for the begining of their season. I thought Rupert Penry-Jones was very good in this role, and i thought it suited after showing him in Persuasion. I loved the scenery and thought they did very good on the settings and castles. Loved it really!! Even my brother who is not much into these sorts of things liked it a lot. It had a lot of action and adventure and was not too long and tiresome, it was i think the right amount of running time. I Found it a good watch and i am actually interested very much in reading the book soon.
Thank you and you can watch this movie online from March 1st -30th On the PBS Masterpiece website. Here's the link - http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/steps/index.html
Thank you Bostan~
